Alma Jean Butcher

Alma Jean Butcher, 89, of Greenfield, died at 1:56 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Greenfield Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on Sunday, October 2, 1932, in Aberdeen, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Flora Cook Watts. Her husband, Raymond D. Butcher, preceded her in death on November 12, 1968.

She is survived by her four children: Raymond D. (Lenora) Butcher, Jr. of Washington C.H., Dan (Sheryl) Butcher of Greenfield, Lee Ann Kinzer of Longview, TX and John Butcher of Arizona, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Alma was the last living of her twelve brothers and sisters.  

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 1 p.m. in the Good Hope Cemetery with Pastor Larry Snodgrass officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Raymond. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus.
