Amelia Elizabeth Weaver

Amelia Elizabeth Weaver, 47 years old, of North Charleston SC, beloved daughter of Roger Phillip and Geneva A. Althouse Weaver, passed from this life on Friday, June, 23, 2023 at her home.  She was born on December 25, 1975, in Chillicothe, Ohio, and was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roger H. and Roberta Sheets Weaver and Lester L. and Elizabeth Kerr Althouse. 

She earned her high school diploma from Thomas Worthington Alternative Program in Worthington, OH and a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Charleston, SC. 

Our Amy, a creative, kind, generous and indomitable spirit who loved the arts, design, animals and nature. She had a wicked, contagious laugh and loved spending time with her friends, family and her creative endeavors. All her creations evolved through color. She saw each one independently and she utilized them fully. Organizing would make her eyes sparkle and fed her soul, but photography was her passion, especially those sunsets. Through her lens, we could see her unique and gifted perspective. Always eager to learn, explore, share and engage, she will be greatly and forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
