Andrew B. "Andy" Hurley, 53, of Greenfield, died at 5:25 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at his home following a lingering illness. He was born on June 28, 1961 in Knockemstiff, the son of the late Charles W. and Ruth I. Johnson Hurley. On April 15, 1987, he married the former Loretta Beatty who survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Derek A. (Kegan) Hurley of Greenfield and Cody R. Hurley of Wilmington, two grandchildren; Zane A. and Cameron R. Hurley, his father -in-law and mother-in-law; George H. and Margene Beatty of Greenfield, one sister; Charlene Hurley of Bainbridge, four brothers; Charles W. (Kim) Hurley II of Chillicothe, Tony and Tim Hurley and Nicky Hurley all of Bainbridge, brothers-in-law; Brian A. (Jessa) Beatty of Greenfield, Steve Phillips of Dover, KY, one sister-in-law; Angela M. Beatty of Greenfield and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joy V. Phillips.
Andy was a self employed sign and graphic designer. He was a volunteer at the Ross County Veterans Service Office.
In keeping with Andy's wishes, he will be cremated and no services or calling hours will be held. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Greenfield is serving the Hurley family.
