Angela Sue Corey

Angela Sue Corey, 51, of Chillicothe, died at 11:02 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe from COVID. She was born on Tuesday, December 8, 1970, in Ross County, the daughter of the late Pearl and Joyce Claytor Sanford.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Wyatt E. Corey, their children; Breanna Corey of Chillicothe, Brandon (Harleigh) Corey of Washington C.H., Kyle Corey, Katie (Gabe) Corey, Sara Corey, and Samarah Corey all of Chillicothe, three step children; Daniel Corey of Greenfield, Sally (Shawn) Hice of Frankfort, Amy (Chris Rinehart) Corey of Chillicothe, five grandchildren; Anna, Christopher, Paige, Leland and Bernice, two sisters; Cathy (Rick) Rhodes of Chillicothe, Tammy (Jeff) Sims of Frankfort, four brothers; Rick (Sue) Sanford of Yellowbud, Bill and Harold Sanford of Chillicothe and Ronnie Ganyon of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Ann Streevy and her stepfather, Ron Ganyon.

Angela was a graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was taken too soon.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Craig Corey officiating. Following the service,Angela will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends can visit with Angela’s family on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.

Angela died of COVID, and masks will be required by those attending the service. Get your vaccine to help prevent further unnecessary deaths.
