ANNA BLANCHE KNISLEY
Anna Blanche Knisley, 93, of Greenfield died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 10:53 p.m. at Hearth and Care of Greenfield. She was born in Greenup County, Kentucky on July 15, 1920, the daughter of the late William and Jane Beach Sharon. She was married to Arthur Knisley who preceded her in death.
She is survived by five children; Janet (Gordon) Watson of Greenfield, Donald "Duck" Knisley of Winder, GA, Rita (Jim) Putney of New Martinsburg, Rex Knisley of Frankfort, Gary (Linda) Knisley of New Martinsburg, seventeen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her many nieces and nephews and her church family. The family would like to thank all the staff of Hearth and Care and Hospice of Hope for the loving care that they gave Blanche. Blanche is preceded in death by two sons; Roger and Ronnie Knisley, two daughters-in-law; Betty R. Knisley and Sally Knisley, two sisters, Jessie Knisley and Nellie Watson and three brothers, Barton, Everett and Jimmy Sharon.
Blanche had worked for several years at the U.S. Shoe Factory in Greenfield and she retired from Greenfield Research. She was a member of the New Martinsburg Community Church.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the New Martinsburg Community Church with Rev. Jason Yoakum officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may call at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hearth and Care, Hospice of Hope or the New Martinsburg Community Church.
