Annabelle Schirm

Annabelle Schirm, 96, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at 11:30pm on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Vineyards of Concord, Frankfort. She was born on Saturday, October 9, 1926, in New Lexington, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Lewis and Alice Mckinley Hilliard Coffman. On June 7, 1947, she married Rev. Clarence E. Schirm, who preceded her in death on January 19, 2005.

Annabelle is survived by four children, Rex (Loretta) Schirm of Shadyside, Jeff (Pam) Schirm of Chillicothe, Melissa (Steve) Brown of Westerville, Daniel (Kathy) Schirm of Chillicothe, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a few great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda (Mike) Ford, five sisters, Martha Coffman, Ruth Ford, Elizabeth Moore, Dorothy Plummer, Ruby Westall, and four brothers, John, Robert, William, and Ralph Coffman.

Annabelle was a 1945 graduate of OSS Xenia, Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphanage, and was a member of CCCU and Nazarene Churches. Annabelle loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren very much, but she loved her Lord and Savior most of all.

A funeral service for Annabelle will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1 p.m., in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Family and friends can visit with Annabelle’s family on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
