Austin Tyler "Gump" Smith

Austin Tyler "Gump" Smith 22, of Bainbridge died Sunday, April 29, 2012. He was born November 25, 1989 in Highland County the son of Rex A. Smith and Kimberly L. Cantrell Smith.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his stepfather, Bill Hallam; fiancAC., Caitlin Rene Reynolds; an unborn son, Mason Tyler Smith, who is due in July; brothers, Rex A. Smith, Jr., Nathaniel Lee Smith and Spencer Ely Smith; grandparents, Frank and Frances Cantrell all of Bainbridge; special friends, Sara Embree and Mark Frazier and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Rosalie Smith and a special friend, Craig Gibson.

Gump was a 2009 Graduate of Paint Valley and Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center, he was also an avid dirt track and Nascar Fan, he loved anything to do with racing, especially driving.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday, May 4, 2012 with Bruce Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Thursday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Funeral Home.
