Barbara E. Elliott

Barbara E. Elliott 80 of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 9:23 am Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Maple View Manor, Bainbridge. She was born April 25, 1931 in Ross County the daughter of the late James and Virginia Smith Wilson.



In addition to her parents Barb was predeceased by her son, Gary Lee Elliott; stepfather, Albert Morris; sister and brother-in-law, Rosa (Everett) Riley; and nephew, Melvin Riley.



On October 7, 1949 she married Melvin B. Elliott, who survives. Also surviving are four sisters, Carolyn (Terry) Taylor and Kathy (James) Armstrong both of Bainbridge, Rebecca Self of Manchester and Alice (Jack) Peters of Washington Court House; brothers-in-law, Ralph (Lee) Elliott and Darrell (Juanita) Elliott; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and her family at Maple View Manor.



She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Christian Union.



Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT funeral home, Bainbridge with Rev. James McCain officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
