Barbara K. Snider

Barbara K. Snider, age 59, of Frankfort, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born on September 29, 1953 in Rochelle, Georgia, the daughter of Charles and Nadine Williamson Walters. On August 24, 1991 she married Aaron Snider, Jr. who survives.

Also surviving are her mother; Nadine Walters of New Mexico; her children; Ruth Ann Weaver of Frankfort, Jimmy Joe Walters of Bowling Green, KY, Priscilla Elliott of Urbana, OH, Jennifer Lynn Hunt of Chillicothe, Erin Kathleen Snider at home, six grandchildren; three sisters; Char Lamond of Vinton County, Cindy Tyler of Columbus, OH, Beth Henderson of Kentucky, two brothers; Mike and Richard Walters of New Mexico, one aunt; Wilava of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, one son; Zachary Morris Walters and one sister; Sylvia Crabtree.

Barbara loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and one of her favorite things was shopping and eating out with her sisters-in-law. She was a member of the Schooley Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Willis Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
