Beatrice Marie Morris Brown 83, of Fruitdale died 9:50 am Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield. She was born January 18, 1930 in Pike County the daughter of the late Luther and Lula Mootispaw Morris. On August 29, 1946 in Greenup, Kentucky, she married Carl Brown who died December 31, 1999.
Surviving are her children, Margene (George) Beatty of Greenfield, Jerry O. Brown of Fruitdale and Wanda (Clifford) Cokonougher of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Loretta, Brian and Angela Beatty, Adam Brown, Tracy, Curtis and Craig Cokonougher and step granddaughter Alicia Carmical; great grandchildren, Raine Wisecup, Derek and Cody Hurley, Matthew Cokonougher, William and Katelynn Appleman, Shayna and Cullen Beatty, Hunter and Levi Cokonougher, Brianna` and Nah`ahia Brown; great great grandchildren, Zane and Cameron Hurley; sisters-in-law, Helen Morris of Blanchester and Juanita Morris of Michigan; brother-in-law, Donald Mustard; special cousin, Minerva Dyson; her extended family, Louise Calhoun and Charlene Hurley and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Anna Price.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Caryln Brown; a sister, Hilda Mustard; brothers, Ambrose, Albert, Delbert, George, Richard, and William David Morris.
Bea was a member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ and had worked at the Pad Factory and the Shoe Factory for 39 years.
Calling hours will be held 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with the funeral service following at 1pm officiated by Steve Alexander. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
