Beatrice E. "Bea" Ragland

Beatrice E. Ragland, 92, of Frankfort, died Thursday , Oct. 6, 2011 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. She was born April 13, 1919 at South Salem, OH, the daughter of the late Mack and Bertha Banks Mitchell. She married Harry G. Ragland, Sr. on November 1, 1938 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2003.

She is survived by two sons; Harry (Christina) Ragland, Jr of Campbell Hall, NY and Antoine Ragland of Frankfort, five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, three sisters; Kathryn Jacobs of Chillicothe, Clara Gothard and Eleanor Mitchell both of Columbus, two brothers; Herbert Mitchell of South Salem and Paul Mitchell of Columbus. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Bea was a graduate of Buckskin High School and was a member of Roxabel Second Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
