Bernie Lee Rittenhouse

Bernie Lee Rittenhouse 43 of Bainbridge died 7 am Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his home. He was born March 26, 1971 in Ross County the son of Bernie Buckner and the late Emma Rittenhouse. On November 3, 1995 he married Kathy L. Johnson Rittenhouse, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Ashley and Jessica Rittenhouse and Evan Wilbur; stepchildren, Brandy (Jason) Hill, Toshia Myers and Ashley Pollock; six grandchildren; sisters, Sharon and Crystal Buckner, Lisa Rittenhouse and Charlene Ward; brothers, Dean and Dale Ward and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special friends Jeremy Cochenour and Rick Jones.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Amos Buckner.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Monday, October 6, 2014 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Robert Haddox officiating. The Rittenhouse family will receive family and friends from 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home Box 485 Bainbridge, OH 45612.
