Betty Lambert

Betty Jane Lambert 93 of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord Monday, April 14, 2025, from Chillicothe Post Acute Care. She was born Saturday, January 16, 1932, in Piketon, Ohio, to the late Ora and Bessie (Satterfield) Beekman. On August 10, 1951, she married Eugene Lambert who passed away on January 29, 1992. In addition to her parents and husband Betty was preceded in death by two sisters Ruth Beekman and Dulcie Ramsey and four brothers Merle Beekman, Robert Beekman, Crawford Beekman and Chester Beekman.

She is survived by three nieces Helen Weber of VA, Ann Gracey of TX and Dorothy Ramsey of Piketon; two nephews, Robert and Marlen Ramsey both of Piketon; several great nieces and nephews, and a close friend Pamela Bethel.

Betty retired from Marietta Place as a Nursing Home Administrator on January 1, 1994. She was a member of McKibben Chapel, and she attended Chillicothe Bible Study Class.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, April 18, 2025, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Pastor Mike Whitley officiating. Following the service Betty will be laid to rest beside her husband in Gardner Cemetery, Waverly. Friends may call from 11 am until 1 pm at the funeral home on Friday.
