Beverly Brownfield

Beverly Brownfield 77, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away, from an extended illness with Parkinson’s, on Friday, December 15, 2023 at her residence, with her family by her side. 

She was born to the late Charles and Betty (Williamson) Carter on Friday, May 11, 1945. 

Bev is survived by a brother Blane Carter, and sisters Vel Carter Rutter and Shelva Carter Monroe. She is also survived by a special  niece, whom she loved as her own Samatha Bates Kellough, as well as Samathas children Jessy Carter Thornton, Joshua Kellough and Samantha R Kellough “Sammie Jo”.  A special great great niece Shelby Johnson, a special nephew JD Corcoran and great nephew Luke Corcoran. Also numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend Neil Mick who was a part of their singing ministry “The Carter sisters and Neil”.  

In addition to her parents Bev was preceded in death by her husband Gene Brownfield and sisters Charlotte Dennewitz and Loretta Corcoran. 

In keeping Beverly’s wishes there will be a graveside service 1 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in the Twin Township cemetery with Jimmy Vandagriff, officiating.

The family would also like to thank all the caregivers who have helped Bev the last few years as well as Hospice for their support and comfort.
