Bobbie Whitley

Bobbie Ray Whitley 84 of Washington Court House formerly of Bainbridge, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in patient hospice. He was born Friday, April 12, 1940, in Ross County. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; wife Geneva (McGlone) Whitley; daughter Deloris Whitley; sister Debbie Montgomery and sister-in-law Theresa Keaton.

He is survived by his wife Frances (Cox) Wines-Whitley; son David (Tammy) Whitley of Waverly; daughter Esther Smithson of Columbus; stepson Earl Wines of Newcomers Town; three brothers Elijah Keaton; Gary (Debbie) Keaton and Glenn (Tamela) Keaton; sister Anna (John) Countryman; brother-in-law Calvin Montgomery; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter and three step grandchildren.

Bob was a township trustee for eight years and a lumber inspector in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia most of his life.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday March 6, 2025, The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Bob Evans officiating. Following the service Bob will be laid to rest beside Geneva in the Bainbridge Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 12 pm - 2 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
