Bonnie DeWitt

Bonnie DeWitt, 79, of Frankfort, died on November 16, 2013 at 11:15 A.M. at her home. She was born on January 22, 1934, in Roxabel, the daughter of the late Chauncey and Gladys Acord Kinnamon. On July 19, 1952 she married Marvin W. DeWitt and he preceded her in death on September 15, 2011.

Surviving are her son; Scott DeWitt of Frankfort, several nieces and nephews, special friends; Mary Hooks, Sara DeLaney, and Eva Cochran. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Darrel and Kenneth Kinnamon, two sisters; Evelyn Sever and Wanda Fout.

Bonnie was a 1952 graduate of the Frankfort High School. She had worked as a grill cook at Bob Evans Restaurant in Rio Grande, Ohio, as a waitress through the 70's and 80's at Oscars' Lounge and Restaurant, and worked as manager at the Red Rooster Restaurant and Dale's Smorgasbord. Bonnie was an avid lover of animals and she never met a stranger.

Funeral service will be held on, Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 1 P.M. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M.. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ross County Humane Society, 2308A Lick Run Rd, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
