Byron L. Shoemaker

Byron L. “Bub” Shoemaker 63 of Bainbridge passed from this life on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield. He was born August 31, 1960, the fifth child late Alfred Shoemaker and Elsie Miller Shoemaker Stepp.

Bub is survived by survived by brothers John (Angie) Shoemaker of Greenfield and Stephen Shoemaker, his guardian, of Bainbridge; his twin sister Barbara (Terry) Knisley of Peebles; sister-in-law Dixie Shoemaker of Bainbridge and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Bub was preceded in death by his brother Larry “Lum” Shoemaker. 

Bub attended Pioneer School and Good Hands for many years. He enjoyed John Wayne and old western movies, listening to music including Elvis, watching Ohio State and playing harmonica. He always had a smile and never met a stranger, he loved everybody, and everybody loved him. He will be greatly missed. 

A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday, May 24, 2024, in the Bainbridge Cemetery with John Shoemaker officiating.
