Carl F. Secrest

Carl F. Secrest, 96, of Chillicothe, died on Wednesday morning, September 19, 2012, at his home. He was born on January 14, 1916 in Ross County, the son of the late Doniger "Don" and Mamie Turner Secrest. His wife, Betty Kinnison Secrest preceded him in death on August 27, 1997.

He is survived by three sons; Kenneth (Donna) Secrest of Chillicothe, Ronald (Marian) Secrest and Edward (Sue) Secrest of Frankfort, three daughters; Clara J. (Gerald) Congrove of Chillicothe, Rose Mary DeLong and Joyce Secrest of Frankfort, twenty grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by two sons; Harold and Everett "Gene" Secrest, three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.

Carl retired in 1977 from Mead Paper where he had worked for thirty three years.

Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 in EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m..
