Catherine L Clouser

Catherine L. Clouser, 88, of Greenfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 17, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 16, 1926, in Greenfield, the daughter of the late William L. and Lillie Willett Beatty. On October 15, 1954 she married her husband, Charles"Boggs" Clouser who survives.
Also surviving are one son; Timmy Clouser of Hillsboro, one daughter; Krista (Dennis) Crouse of South Salem, five grandsons; Timothy, Caleb and Collin Clouser and Cole and Cain Crouse. Special nieces; Barbara (Roger) Duncan, Sharon Greene, nephews; Bubby (Becky) Beatty, Steve (Cindy) Adams and all of their families, sister-in-law; Janet Beatty and former sister-in-law Joan Barrett; a life-long friend; Jean Yates Norton, as well as her Church family and neighborhood friends both on Lafayette Street and Oak Street, especially Kathy Patton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; John, Kenneth and Howard (Hoppy) Beatty, one sister; Harriett (Hattie) Adams, mother and father in-law Charles and Rosa White, a great nephew; Heath Beatty.
Catherine was a retired employee of the General Bell Telephone Company, The Snack Bar and the First Baptist Church. She served the Lord in many ways throughout her lifetime. She was a faithful member of the Greenfield First Baptist Church for 82 years. She served as the nursery school teacher for over 60 years until ill health prevented her from serving as a "special" teacher to many children.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11:00am in the Greenfield First Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Stewart and Mark Current officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may visit with Catherine's family on Tuesday from 5-8p.m. at the church. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Greenfield is serving the family.
