Charlene E. Walley

Charlene E. (Salt) Walley 97 passed away peacefully August 16, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Stella (Ackley) Salt. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Walley.

Surviving is her son Scott Walley; daughters Cindy Shaw and Becky (Gary) Dyke; brother Roy (Sally) Salt; three grandchildren Mandy (Scott) Kenz; Kelly (Ty) Shasteen and Cody (Tiffany) Shaw and six great grandchildren.

Charlene was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Amy Fogle; sister Thelma Kirby and brother Emmett Salt.

She was a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post 14 and the Order of Eastern Star. She was a secretary at the Mead following her high school graduation. She was also co-owner of several businesses. She enjoyed her canasta and bridge games with friends.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm Friday, August 19, 2022 in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. No Calling hours will be observed.  In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made in Charlene’s name to the Paxton Area Life Squad. 202 S. Mountain Street Bainbridge, OH 45612.
