Charles Lester Knisley, Jr. 66 of Bainbridge passed from this life Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born September 3, 1954 in Ross County the son of the late Charles Lester and Betty Ann (VanGundy) Knisley.
Charlie is survived by his wife Judy (Morris) Knisley; daughter Misty Dawn (Mark) Guerrero and grandson Owen Guerrero; stepchildren David Dewayne (Brenda) Stephenson and Wilma Leah (Don) Cummings and grandchildren, Christopher White, Mary Dalton, Samantha White, Leon Cummings, Miranda White, Julia, Amy and Ashley Stephenson; several great grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters Paula (Bill) Branscomb, Teresa Knott, Larry (Jan) Knisley, Patty (Henry) Cawley, JoAnn (Billy) Stauffer, Brigette (Bill) Davis, Tim (Winds) Knisley, Mark (Rhonda) Knisley, Monica (Andrew) DeLong and Robin (Doug) Penisten; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents Charlie was preceded in death by his stepmother Lucille (Hackworth) Knisley; sisters-in-law Marcella and Gretchen Knisley; brother-in-law Bill Knott; niece Leslie Knisley and nephew Ethan Knisley.
Charlie was a member of the Nipgen CCCU Church and he was owner and operator of Top Quality Auto parts for over 30 years. He was an avid racer, racing most of his life, traveling to many states to compete.
Private graveside services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 in the Twin Township Cemetery. The family ask that any friends that would like to pay respect to Charlie drive thru the cemetery past the tent (please remain in your car), using the arched entrance, from 3:45-4:30 pm Friday.
