Charles Allen Maughmer
Charles Allen "Charlie" Maughmer, age 60, of Nipgen, died 11:02 pm, July 15, 2015 at his home, after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was born October 15, 1954, the son of the late Curtis L. and Opal VanGundy Maughmer. On November 26, 1974 he married the former Debra Carter, who survives.
He is also survived by 2 sons, Colby Maughmer of South Salem and Zachary Maughmer of Bainbridge; a sister, Bessie Elliott of Chillicothe; a brother, Curtis L. Maughmer of Lydon; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Christian and Noah, whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by a sister Kathleen Maughmer.
Charlie worked road construction for 40 years, loved to fish, and loved having the porch and yard filled with flowers.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
