Charles W "Jack" Newland

Charles w. "Jack" Newland, 72, of Chillicothe died at 1:00 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1941 at Bourneville, the son of the late Delbert and Georgia Brown Newland. He is survived by his wife of forty years, the former Deborah J. Beechler.

Also surviving are four daughters; Melissa Beechler of Circleville, Jennifer Beechler of Clarksburg, Rebecca Snow of Chillicothe and Jacqueline Seymour of Clarksburg, thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister, Virginia Rinehart of Bainbridge, two brothers; Dean and Butch Newland of Frankfort and his best friend; Ira Bernard of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Ruth Price and Lucille Herman and one brother; John "Junior' Newland.

Jack was a retired diesel mechanic from PreFab Transit in Columbus and for the last eight years had worked for Concord Township.

Relatives and friends are asked to gather at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. where a graveside service will be held with Harold Rutledge officiating. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort.
