Charles Gene "Bud" Taylor

Charles G. "Bud" Taylor, 86, of Greenfield , died at 6:00 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Serenity Haven Care Center, Frankfort. He was born December 6, 1925 in Bainbridge, the son of the late Burch and Nellie Belle St. Clair Taylor. On December 4, 1951 he married the former Jeanette Perdue, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters; Sandra (Wendell) George of Greenfield, Linda (Ed) Barton of Frankfort, Penny Taylor (Phil Minteer) of Greenfield, thirteen grandchildren; Todd Cokonougher, Amy Cokonougher, Beth Manbeavers, Melissa(Chip) Anderson, Mindy (Boomer) Royse, David (Shawn) Olaker, Bart Barton, Brandon (Jennifer) Barton, Jennifer (Jeff) Miller, Heather (Chet) Gibson, Ben Howard, Chris (Helena) Howard, Jody Watson, twenty one great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one sister; Kathleen Everhart of Greenfield. He was preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Lyndey Olaker.
Bud retired as an electrician with the IBEW - Chillicothe. He was a 1944 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School and he attended Good Shepherd United Brethren Church.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. in ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Gilboa Cemetery, New Petersburg where military honors will be accorded by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9 a.m. to the time of the service.
