Charlotte Ann Zurmehly

Charlotte A. Zurmehly, 81, of Clarksburg, died at 3:15p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 26, 1934 in Yellowbud, the daughter of the late Harvey and Helen Garrison Jordan. On June 24, 1953 she married Paul Zurmehly, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Mark (Dee) Zurmehly, Barry (Joyce) Zurmehly all of Clarksburg, five grandchildren, Ashley (Todd) Harris, Michael Zurmehly, John Adam Zurmehly, Erin (Ross) Lanford, Erica (Adam) Kentosh, two great-grandchildren, Avery and Parker Harris, two sisters, Thelma R. "Sis" Bowdle of Chillicothe, Linda Zimmerman of London OH, and one brother, Gary Jordan of Chillicothe.

Charlotte was a 1952 graduate of Clarksburg High School. She was a member of the Clarksburg United Methodist Church where she served as financial secretary, a choir member, a member of the United Methodist Women, and a Sunday school teacher. She was a beloved homemaker and grandmother and will be remembered by all.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 in the Clarksburg United Methodist Church, Clarksburg. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends may visit with the Zurmehly family at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m..
