Christina "Chris" Sherrick Pettiford

Christina "Chris" Pettiford Sherrick, 38, of Clarksburg, died unexpectedly at 9:08p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was born on June 5, 1975 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Tomas and Nancy Carroll Sherrick, of Clarksburg.

She is survived by her parents, her husband Ronnie Dale Pettiford, two children, Taylor Adel Pettiford Sherrick, and Ronnie Dale Pettiford, both of Clarksburg, paternal grandmother, Audrey Hudak of Mount Vernon OH, brother Brad (Michelle) Sherrick of Chillicothe, and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wendell and Mildred Cook Carroll, and paternal grandfather, Thomas Sherrick Sr..

Chris attended the Circleville Christian University. She was a people person, and loved everyone.

A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends may visit with the Sherrick family on Sunday from 5 to 7p.m..
