Christopher James Sollars

Christopher James Sollars 47 of Bainbridge passed from this life 10:28 pm Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his home. He was born Friday, April 29, 1977, in Chillicothe the son of James E. and Rhonda G. (Cawley) Sollars.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Rhonda; sister, Karen (Mel) Richardson; grandmother, Barbara Cawley; aunts, Lori Wagoner and Debby Cawley; uncles, Shane (Tiffany) Cawley and Rev. Gary (Donna) Sollars; nieces and nephew, Emily Rachelle and McKenzie Rachelle Evans, Sheldon Richardson and Grace Richardson; cousins, Jeremy and Trevor Cawley, Tyler and Derrick Wagoner, Tristan Cawley, Melody Sollars and Susan Ferenchak.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth and Norma Jean Sollars and George Cawley; and uncles Kevin Cawley and Rick Wagoner.

Chris was a graduate of Paint Valley High School; he loved history and collected many things pertaining to history through the years. Chris worked at Kenworth and was a member of the NLRA and the Bainbridge Lodge 196 F&AM. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Brett Smith officiating. Following the service a private burial will be take place in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 12:30- 2:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
