Claudia Sue "Susie" Thompson

Claudia Sue Thompson, 52 of Bainbridge died 9:12 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 14, 1959 at the Bethesda Navel Hospital, MD, the daughter of James W. Campbell and Laura Chamblin Gilmore. On August 14, 1999 she married David A. Thompson, who survives.

She is also survived by her parents, James (Anna) Campbell of Frankfort and Laura (Vernon) Gilmore of Greenfield; two sons, Kenneth (Tonya) Woods of Bainbridge and Justin Woods of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Austin, Sydney, Gage and Caiden Woods; sisters, Cindy A. Martin of Chillicothe and Angela (Dr. Drew) Serpe of Long Island, NY; brother, Russell Campbell of Greenfield; and special friend Tacey Knisley of Bainbridge.

Susie was predeceased by a son, Toby Woods and two brothers, James and Terry Lee Campbell.

A celebration of Susie's life will be held from 3 to 5:30 pm Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with a brief service to be held following the celebration at 5:30 with Rick Stafford officiating.
