Clyde James "Jake" Everhart

Clyde James "Jake" Everhart, 79, of Bainbridge, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Veterans Administration of Chillicothe.
He was born January 27, 1932 in Bainbridge the son of the late Clyde James and Marjorie Wright Everhart. On January 14, 1970 he married the former Norma Jean Saxton, who survives.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Peggy Breland of FL, Walter Everhart of Bainbridge, Linda Cox of FL and Joyce Stout of Bainbridge; stepson, Ronnie Saxton; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a sister, Winona Snyder of Bainbridge.
In addition to his parents Jake was preceded in death by two sons, Clyde James, Jr. and Rex Alexander Everhart; and a sister, Beulah Harmount.
Jake was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Mike Darbyshire officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with a Military graveside service accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
