Colby Jarrod Owens

Colby Jarrod Owens, 22, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly, Sunday morning, November 15, 2015 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born on April 18, 1993 in Thomasville NC, the son of Timothy Owens and Dianna Furniss.

He is survived by his mother, Dianna (Denver) Jeffers of Frankfort, father, Timothy Owens of NC, maternal grandmother Anna Lee Furniss of Frankfort, paternal grandmother Virginia Owens of NC, sisters, Amy Jo Newlun, Donnie (Terrelle) Ward, Jamie Lucas, all of Frankfort, Hannah (Derek) Fabris of Columbia SC, brothers, Zach (Misty) Jeffers, Miah Jeffers, all of Frankfort, aunts and uncles, Jill Steele, Rufty Owens, Wayne Owens, Rusty Furniss, Don (Ruby) Furniss, Bruce (Krys) Furniss, Eva Riley, Cam Nesser, nieces and nephews, Legend Dale, Brooklynn, Julian, Darian, Terronica, Terron, Terrelle Jr., Terriyah, Nathaniel, Holden, cousins, Jeremy (Bonnie), Jason (Amber), Justin (Katie), Ryan (Hadassah), Margaret (Jason), Sandy, Angie (Bobby), Laura, Kristin (John), and godmother Christina Cornell of Frankfort. He was preceded by his maternal grandfather, Sherman R. Furniss, and paternal grandfather, Arthur Owens.

Colby was a 2013 graduate of Pioneer School, Chillicothe. He was a "supervisor" at Options, Chillicothe. Colby loved music, especially Michael Jackson and Celine Dion. He was a collector of license plates and loved mufflers. Colby loved the sky and moon, and his favorite lady, Ariel the Mermaid. He enjoyed food, and adored his family and his Pioneer and Options families.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with Colby's family on Wednesday from 11a.m. until the time of service.
