Colen C. Rhoads
Colen C. Rhoads 90, of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 12 pm Friday, October 26, 2012. He was born November 8, 1921 in Pike County the son of the late Arza and Stella Lightle Rhoads.
Colen was a graduate of Western High School and he retired from the accounting department at ODOT. He was also a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union organization and was a devote Christian and had a firm commitment to his faith. He and Willard Case traveled all over Ohio for many years singing and sharing the gospel.
Colen was also very faithful to his family and will be sadly missed by each one of his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Nellie Cawley, Rachel and Marguerite Williamson and brothers, Ora, Raymond and James Woodrow Rhoads.
At Colen's request, everyone is asked to gather in the Bainbridge Cemetery at 2 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2012 for a graveside service, with Rev. Tom Rhoads officiating. No calling hours will be observed. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or evangelistic organization of choice.
