Connie Johnson-O'Brien

Connie L. Johnson-O’Brien, 75, of Frankfort, died on Sunday morning, August 4, 2024, at Embassy Valley View, Frankfort. She was born on Monday, December 27, 1948, in Frankfort, the daughter of the late Freddie Webb and Mary Elizabeth West Watson. On March 17, 2003, she married Bernard O’Brien, and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2007. 

Connie is survived by her brother, Dale Watson of Frankfort, her daughter, Brooke and son-in-law, Joe of Chillicothe, three granddaughters, Laken, Brittany, Kristie, five great-grandchildren, one stepson, Zach, and one grandson, Canin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bernard O’Brien, and a stepdaughter, Abby. 

Connie was 1967 graduate from Adena High School and earned a bachelor’s degree at Ohio University. She worked for and retired from for Eddie Bauer. She enjoyed her job and loved her family and friends. Connie loved all kinds of animals, but she had a special place in her heart for horses.

A memorial service for Connie will be held at 4pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Family and friends can visit with Connie’s family at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2 to 4pm. Connie’s family suggest that memorial contributions be made to ASPCA, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018, or the St. Jude’s Foundation, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
