Corinne Kiser

Corinne (Jones) Kiser 98 of Bainbridge passed from this life Sunday, May 8, 2022. She was born August 14, 1923, in Bainbridge, OH the daughter of the late Ralph K. and Georgia (Puckett) Jones. On January 26, 1957, she married John W. “Jack” Kiser who passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012.

She is survived by her sons Robert (Melinda) Kiser of Bainbridge and Mike (Nancy) Kiser of Johnstown; grandchildren Christina Kiser and Roman Kiser; and her best friend Nellie Oyer.

In addition to her parents Corinne was preceded in death by two grandchildren Jesse and Brooks Kiser and two sisters Helen and Ruth Jones.

Corinne was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Wilmington College where she graduated with her degree in Elementary Education. She started her career at Buckskin Elementary before stepping away for a brief period. She picked her career back up at Bainbridge Elementary, where she later retired in the mid 80’s. Corinne enjoyed reading books, sewing, puzzles, crosswords, and cats.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, May 13, 2022, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Dennis Wheeler officiating. Following the service Corinne will be laid to rest beside Jack in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
