Crystal Mae Barton

Crystal Mae Barton, age 72, of Wheaton, IL died on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at the DuPage Convalescent Center, Wheaton. She was born November 2, 1941, the daughter of Eugene Barton and Ada (Giles)Barton. Ada, her mother died when Crystal was 2 years old and she was raised by her step-mother, Lena (Brust) Barton. Crystal resided on Dewey Creek Road, Frankfort, Ohio for most of her life.

She is survived by a half sister, Barbara (Lynn) Doerschuk of IL; and two half brothers: William E. Barton of Greenfield, OH and Carl Edward (Linda) Barton of Frankfort, OH. Crystal was a loving Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Crystal was preceded in death by her mother, Ada (Giles) Barton; father, Eugene Barton, step-mother Lena (Brust) Barton and three sisters: Edna (Dwight) Summers, Gayle Barton, and Sally (Ross) Pierce.

Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Danny Dodds officiating Burial will follow in South Solon Cemetery, South Solon, OH. Friends may visit with the Barton family on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
