D. Michael "Mike" Johnson

D. Michael “Mike” Johnson 77 of Chillicothe passed from this life Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born August 25, 1943 in Ross County the son of the late Lloyd and Ruth Demint Johnson. On January 20, 1962 he married the former June Hurley, who survives.

He is also survived by their children, Terri White, Tracy (Penny) Johnson and Josh Johnson; five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a sister Sue (Willard) Kellough; brothers Kenneth (Pam) Johnson and Gregory (Sherry) Johnson; several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents Mike was preceded in death by his siblings, Marsha Wright, Pam Finch, Juanita Lowe, Rodney Allen Johnson and Lloyd Franklin Johnson.

Mike worked construction and logging most of his life. He enjoyed tinkering with things and wheeling and dealing.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.

The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Bainbridge is serving the family.
