Dale Edward Cooper went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2010 at 6:45 in the evening. He was born May 15, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the son of William Oral and Bertha Alice (Gatten) Cooper.
He is survived by his wife Glenna Sue Cooper whom he married on August 18, 1984.
He is also survived by one son. John David (Wendy) Cooper of Bellevue, Nebraska. Three daughters, Vicki Jean (Carl) Milnickle of Greenfield, Ohio; Terri Gay Crabtree (Jack Wooten) of Piketon, Ohio; and Traci Diane (Scott) Gibson of Waverly.
He was Grandfather to John Jr, Kyle, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Charlie, Steve, Nathan, Johnathan, Lindsy, Miranda and Danny; Great Grandfather to Dakota, Hunter, Gabriel, Ashton, Nathan Jr, Carson, Madelyn, Addison, Abrial, Jayce, Nolan, Peyton and Isaac.
Dale is survived by one sister Lavon (Donald) Dennewitz of Paulding, Ohio and one brother Ralph (Judy) Cooper of Chillicothe. Brother and sister-in-law Homer and Mary Rhodes of Bainbridge.
Dale was preceded in death by brothers Oral Wayne Cooper and Glenn Raymond Cooper and one sister Eileen Vest.
Dale served in the Army during the Korean War.
Dale was a member of the Chapel of Hope of Greenfield where the funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 with Rev. Randy Abbott officiating. Burial will follow, with Military Honors accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard, in the Londonderry Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 Monday at the Church.
