Darlene Sue Showalter

Darlene S. Showalter, 58, of Clarksburg, died on Friday evening, March 26, at 5:53pm at her home. She was born on Monday, June 11, 1962 in Pickaway County, the daughter of the late Hollie P. and Alberta L. Glass Showalter.

Surviving are her husband of forty plus years, Robert S. Colter of Clarksburg, five children, Robert (Nikki) Showalter of Frankfort, Joshua (Raegan) Showalter, Jessica (Meko) Showalter, Brandy (Chad) Colter-Wolfe, KC (Jeremy) Hagerman, all of Clarksburg, eighteen grandchildren, Richelle, Adrianna (Issac), Kylie, Derek, Austin, Isaiah, Kaitlyn, Jeremy, Alexis, Leevi, Elijah, Matthew, Skyler, Jorja, Gaige, Aiden, Paisley, Josie, one great-grandchild, Xavier, and one on the way, brother, Chuck E. (Brenda) Showalter of Washington C.H.. She was preceded in death by her son, Mackie D. Showalter, four sisters, Carolyn Hampton, Ruth A. Showalter, Sandy K. Colter, Janet S. Showalter, two brothers, Pete Showalter, and Mack D. Showalter.

Darlene loved to play bingo and spend countless hours at the casino. But her number one love above all was her family.

A public graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 at Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg, with Paul Jones officiating. Those attending will be required to wear face coverings and socially distance.
