Darrell E. Elliott

Darrell E. Elliott 76, of Bainbridge died 3:05 am Friday, April 17, 2015 at his home. He was born June 11, 1938 in Pike County the son of the late Howard and Elma Knisley Elliott. On March 31, 1956 he married the former Juanita Knapp, who survives.

He is also survived by his children, Rick (Brenda) Elliott of Bainbridge, Greg (Shelly) Elliott and Tammy (Mack) Roberts of Leesburg, Laura (Charley) Dreher of Peebles, Jeff (Lisa) Elliott and Tina (Tom) Wagoner of Bainbridge and Brad (Betty) Elliott of Rocky Fork; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Melvin and Ralph (Lee) Elliott of Bainbridge; and close friends, Audie Snyder, Bill Jordan and Bobby Williamson.

In addition to his parents Darrell was preceded in death by a grandson, a great grandson, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Darrell was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Christian Union and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Darrell's family on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
