David Beverly

Death is not the extinguishing of the light - it is the putting out of the lamp because the dawn has come. David Beverly, of Frankfort, the fifth oldest child of the late Essie Gene and Marie Henderson went to his reward, with his family at his side, at 5:47P.M., May 11, 2011 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1922 in Pulaski VA. On December 8, 1952 he married the former Nettie Mae Brooks, who preceded him in death on January 2, 2001.



Those left to mourn are his daughter; Deneice Beverly at home, son; Fredrick A. (Donna) Patterson of Jacksonville NC, grandchildren; Mae-Nettie Beverly of Kimball WV, Beverly L. Benson of Kyle WV, Domanilla Patterson of Lynchburg VA, Donnial Patterson of Jacksonville NC, brothers; Charles Beverly of Massillion OH, Harold Beverly of Chillicothe, sisters; Willa Carlos of Akron OH, Elizabeth of Seaside CA, Sharon of Newark NJ, Ilene of Perris CA, special friends; Louis Hoosier of Massieville OH, Edna Horton of Worth WV, and a host of nieces and nephews.



David retired from the US Postal Service on August 22, 2002 after 37 years of faithful service.



Funeral service will be held at 11A.M. on Monday, May 16, 2011 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Minister Donna E. Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6 to 8P.M.
