David W. “Harry” France, 73, of Frankfort, died at 1:16 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1945 in Ross County, the son of the late Samuel and Dorothy Hayden France.
He is survived by his three children; David W. (Haley) France of Chillicothe, Shelly Hatfield of Tennessee, Eric “Whitey” (Valentina) France of Frankfort. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Clayton (Amanda) Wescott, Trey Hatfield, Urik France, Olivia Hatfield, Jordyn Vaughn, one sister; Wanda Detty of Frankfort, three brothers; Jack Brewer of Chillicothe, Robert Brewer and Norman France both of Napoleon, his former wife and caregiver, Pam Lemaster, special friends, Tom Bossertt and Frank Halcomb. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaicee Vaughn, four sisters and two brothers.
Harry retired from The Budd Company. He loved to spend time fishing and he lived his life on his own terms. He was a good neighbor and friend and will be missed.
His family would like to thank the Hospice team from National Church Residences and the friends at the Frankfort Place.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and no service or visitation will be held.
