David E. Gossett

David E. Gossett went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2011 after a battle with cancer. Dave was born August 31, 1942 to Fred and Mable (Wetherby) Gossett. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruth Gossett; children, Ann Gossett-Kinnamon (David Kinnamon) and Brian Gossett; grandchildren Audrey Kinnamon, Ashlee Gossett, and Eric Gossett; sister, Sally Parrish (Larry Parrish) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Taylor. Dave retired from the Ross County Engineers in 1998.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Adena Hospice care and to the Bainbridge Church of Christ family.



Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Steve Alexander officiating, burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at the Bainbridge Church of Christ.
