David Edward Long

David E. Long, 92, of Frankfort, died at 5:54p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on June 24, 1921 in Ross County, the son of the late Arthur and Cora Clinger Long. On May 22, 1941 he married the former Wilena Jones, who preceded him in death on May 19, 2009.

Surviving are one son, Gary A. (Carolyn Sue) Long of Frankfort, three grandchildren, Laura (Scott) Spicher of Burlington KY, Tim (Erin) Seymour of Cedar Rapids IA, and Stephen Seymour of Martinsville OH, and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two sisters, and three brothers, including Gilbert Long.

David retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Factory in Chillicothe on disability. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles Aerie 600, Chillicothe.

A graveside service will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. No calling hours will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Concord TWP EMS, PO Box 616, Frankfort OH 45628.
