David James Winegar

David J. Winegar, 74, of Leesburg, died at 8:53 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Heartland of Hillsboro. He was born on February 9, 1938 in Highland County, the son of the late W. David and Roma B. Parshall Winegar. On August 31, 1963 he married the former Carol McCloskey and she survives.
Also surviving are one son; Steve Winegar, one daughter; Sandra (Brad) Fetters all of Leesburg, two step granddaughters; Courtney and Charity Fetters.
David was a 1956 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. He retired as a machinist with Hobart Manufacturing in Hillsboro with 33 years of service. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves. David was a member of the Greenfield Antique Tractor and Machinery Club and the Paint Valley Antique Machinery Club.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield, with Rev. Larry Edgington officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
