Deema Lee Tackett 65 of Frankfort, Ohio passed from this life on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 19, 1958, in Ashville to the late Bill and Carol (Thomas) Copper. On February 14, 1985, she married Stephen Lee Tackett.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Stephen Lee Tackett, their son, Christopher Tackett, one sister, Jeanette (David) Knisley, and one brother, Tony (Allie) Copper. In addition to her parents, Deema was preceded in death by her son, Beau Keller.
Deema graduated from Nursing at Otterbein University and was a dedicated Nursing Professor at Southern State Community College. She was passionate about decorating her home with all the many crafts she had made. She was a loving wife, mother and Momma Husky to all her Husky fur babies.
In keeping with Deema's wishes she will be cremated and there will be no viewing or services. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family. Family and friends may share memories of Deema on her online register.
