Dixie Belle Johnson

Dixie Belle Johnson, 71 of Greenfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born to the late Orville Eldon "Hap" and Florence Martha (Owens) Miller on January 6th, 1950. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob" Johnson who passed from this world on October26, 2019. 

Dixie is survived by her two children: one son, Brian Johnson of Hillsboro and one daughter, Jennifer (Richie) Kelley of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Lacie Buckner, Tommy Johnson, Johanna Kelley, and Dixie M. Johnson; one sister, Rhoda (Richard) Nevin of Bainbridge; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Dixie was preceded in death by seven sisters and eight brothers. 

Dixie loved dancing, reading, laughing, animals (especially cats), crafting, and most of all; spending time with her family and friends.

Per her wishes, Dixie will be cremated and a private gathering will be held to celebrate her life by sharing memories and stories. 

The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge will be serving the family. Those who wish, may send flowers, to the funeral home Saturday, and or sign the online register book.
