Donald Eugene Berger

Donald E. Berger, 73, of Gahanna, died at 8:38p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus. He was born on January 30, 1940 in Clinton Co., the son of the late Howard and Stella Florea Berger. His wife, the former Nancy Cline survives.

Also surviving are his children, Eric Berger of Gahanna, Zach Berger of Johnstown, Sara Berger of Washington D.C., stepson, Scott Jacobs of Blacklick, grandchildren Kate and Amanda Jacobs, sister, Silva Jean Meyer of Blanchester, brothers Lloyd Berger of Dallas TX, and Joe Berger of Arizona. He was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Berger.

Donald was a member of New Albany First Church of the Nazarene, the Ohio Inventors Council and the Air National Guard.

In keeping with Don's wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 10a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the New Albany First Church of the Nazarene, with Larry McNutt officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the New Albany First Church of the Nazarene, 6000 Johnstown Road, New Albany OH 43054.
