Donald R. Everhart

Donald R. Everhart, 76, of Leesburg, died on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:40 a.m. at the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born on November 5, 1941 in Columbus, OH the son of the late Clarence and Virginia Pollard Everhart. On February 17, 1971 he married the former Carolina Grose who survives.

Also surviving are their children; Pamette Clark and Ronda (Wayne) Turner all of Washington C.H., Jerry Sumner of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Dennis and Mark Mootispaw of Greenfield, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers; Jim Everhart of Sabina, Tommy Everhart of Cincinnati, one brother-in-law; Robert Jasper Grose, his faithful pet and companion, Coco.

Don proudly served his country from 1959 to 1971 in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for more than forty years.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield.  Family and friends can visit with Don’s family on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans.
