Donald Owen Huff

Donald O. Huff, 60 of Frankfort, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 8:05p.m. at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He was born on April 7, 1955, in Ross County, the son of Roy and Betty Madden Huff.

Surviving are his mother, Betty Dotterer of Columbus, one son, Jeremy Huff, his companion and soul mate of 23 years, Nancy Russell with whom he raised two children, Rick Russell of Frankfort and Heath Russell of Columbus, one granddaughter, Haley Russell, and three brothers, Terry Smith of Dayton, Keith Smith of Waverly, and Randy Dotterer of Grove City. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy.

Donald worked as a truck driver for Clary Trucking and was a member of the Clarksburg Bible Christian Church where he also served on the church committee. He also served as a delegate to the Scioto Valley Christian Conference. Donald loved NASCAR, fishing, mechanic work, and helping people.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Donald's brother, Keith Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Boblett Cemetery, Allensville, OH. Friends may call on the Huff family at the funeral home on Monday from 12p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
