Doris Marie Justice

Doris Marie Justice, 90, of Frankfort, died at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Vineyards at Concord. She was born on February 2, 1922, in Scioto County, OH, the daughter of the late John and Doris Browne Crabtree. On March 20, 1941 she married Edward E. Justice who preceded her in death on November 13, 1972.

She is survived by four children; Kathleen (Edwin) Kruger, Eileen Wilson all of Frankfort, Judy Vetter of Chillicothe, Thomas (Wendy) Justice of Frankfort, ten grandchildren; Patti Kruger, John Kruger, Rob Kruger, Beth Klingele, Suzanne Wilson, Mari Grigsby, Heidi Leasure, Julie Cottrill, Amy Johnson, Matt Justice, 21 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, one sister; Elizabeth Dettwiller of McDermott Ohio, and one brother; Lehman (Martha) Crabtree of Marion. She was preceded in death by one grandson, six sisters, three brothers, and two sons-in-law; Ralph Wilson and Ronald Vetter.

Doris was a 1939 graduate of South Webster High School. She and her husband farmed together for 31 years. Doris was a hitter for the former Adena Women's Softball Team, and a 4-H advisor for the Frankfort Merry Workers. She was an avid quilter and had made quilts for several people in the community.

Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Dwain Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m..
