Duane E. Sceurman

Duane E. Sceurman, 58, of Greenfield, died at 6:09 p.m., on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield. He was born on Saturday, August 7. 1965, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the son of George and Diana Hissong Sceurman.

Duane is survived by his four children, Elizabeth (Nathan) Sceurman of Zanesville, Rebecca Sceurman, Maddison Sceurman, Tyler Sceurman, all of Washington Court House, one grandchild, Ares Schieferecke, his mother, Diana Sceurman of Utica, his ex-wife and mother of his children, Charity Sceurman of Washington Court House, two sisters, Sandy (Scott) Wireman of Saint Louisville, Ohio, Dorothy (John) Turnbull of Dayton, one brother David Sceurman of China. He was preceded in death by his father, George Sceurman.

Duane was a graduate of Utica High School. He worked many years as a truck driver for International Paper.

In keeping with Duane's wishes, cremation will take place, and no calling hours will be held. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield is serving the family. Those who wish to leave a personal memory of Duane may do so by signing his online register book.
